"Once you've looked into the darkness, you carry it with you for the rest of your life."

Rob brings 20 years of experience to VadaathHe began playing guitar at the age of 11 after hearing Ace Frehley's solo in the song "Shock Me" from the Kiss Alive II album. He got his first guitar in 1986 and immediately began creating music.  In the mid-80's he was turned on to ultra-heavy sounds of Metallica, Slayer, Exodus and in the early 90's, Pantera. After stints in local bands Pi, Hooga and Malignant Inception he, Curtis and John formed Vadaath.  His desire, was to create a band that was heavy and evil, yet retain a powerfully dark groove. Rob loves the dark side of music, embracing many genres of metal music including Thrash, Death and Black Metal. He has even branched out into film score soundtracks and is particularly fond of composers Hans Zimmer, James Horner and John Williams.
